The Converse Renew line is all about taking waste and making it into something great, and these low-top Chuck Taylor ‘70s are no exception. The canvas, partly made from manufacturing line waste material, is not just confined to the tri-coloured uppers; it’s also used across the high foxing tape and the model-synonymous toe cap in place of the usual rubber. The outsole is completely changed, too. It’s made from regrind rubber to ensure the eco-conscious theme is present on every single component.
